Pigment ink combines good properties of two existing types of ink. It possesses resistance against light as regular pigment ink does and also guarantees the same high quality of the imprint as dye based ink does. Particles of the pigment used in this ink are of the very small size. All particles are of about equal size and have practically perfect round shape. Also every particle is bound within a cover of transparent polymer which after being put on the paper creates a defensive layer that protects the image against fading and mechanical damage. Ink dries almost instantly. New ink has more than 10 times better resistance against light than dye based ink and more than 3 times better than classic photo imprint.
